     The Sutter Animal Shelter Authority recently kicked off an educational campaign to inform the residents of Sutter County about the importance of spaying and neutering, as well as what happens to feral cats and dogs that come into the shelter. According to interim shelter manager Bob Clary, estimates of feral cats in the county are roughly 16,000 to 18,000.
